托福综合写作套路有多深?

3分钟阅读一篇学术文章,再听一段与文章有关的教授讲话,最后请考生将听力与阅读内容之间的关系在20分钟内用文字表达出来。这就是传说中的托福综合写作。一道题考查了听、读、写三个方面的能力,而且是缺一不可。听起来好难啊!但其实并不难,因为有“万年不变”的出题套路。华樱外语的杨老师精心准备了托福综合写作的模板和套路分析,同学们快上车。

 

一、套路是什么

3年来的考试题,阅读部分全部是:提出一个观点,然后用3个分论点来支持它,且每个分论点都有相应的展开论据。听力部分,教授无一例外对阅读中的观点持否定态度,并对文章中的3个点一一进行反驳。字数的要求也是很明确的150-225字。

 

二、有没有模板可以用?

托福综合写作是可以用模板的,模板可以节约不少的时间。杨老师建议:合理的模板应是用词多变的,表达清晰的。

 

综合写作模板 1

The reading/passage and the listening/lecture both talk about Topic/Subject. However, the speaker/lecturer/professor considers/thinks that what the reading/passage suggests is quite/very/pretty different from the ideas in the listening and even erroneous/misleading when compared to the reality.

 

First/To start with/To begin with, in the reading/passage, it is said that 阅读观点1. In contrast, the listening/lecturer/professor holds a view that 听力反驳观点1. That is, 听力论证细节. This directly contradicts what the reading/passage/author indicates.

 

Second/On the other hand/Next, the passage/reading/author asserts/claims that 阅读观点2. However, the professor/speaker/lecturer/listening maintains an opposite opinion that 听力反驳观点2. To state it more clearly, 听力论证细节. This is another part where the listening/speaker/lecturer/professor contravenes the argument in the reading.

 

Third/Finally/At last, the author of reading passage believes that 阅读观点3, but the professor disagrees with/ refutes/rejects such idea by pointing out that 听力反驳观点3. 听力论证细节. Therefore/As a result/Consequently, the last opinion in the reading is kind of wrong again.

 

 

综合写作模板 2

The lecture is mainly discussing 听力Topic by providing three strong/reasonable reasons/evidences/theories, challenging what are stated in the reading passage that 阅读Topic.

 

First of all, the speaker thinks that 听力反驳观点1. 听力论证细节. In contrast, the reading passage believes that 阅读观点1. So, the lecture totally disagrees with the view made in the reading.

Second, the speaker discusses 听力反驳观点2. 听力论证细节. These statements contradict what is stated in the reading that 阅读反驳观点2.

 

Finally, the speakers raises the issue that 听力反驳观点3. 听力论证细节. This point disagrees with the point that 阅读观点3 demonstrated in the reading.

 

 

综合写作模板 3

It is not hard to find that some serious doubt has been cast by the lecture on the information in the reading passage. Whereas the reading passage seems to be in favor of 阅读Topic, the lecture apparently contradicts it by stressing 听力Topic.

 

In order to support his/her view in the listening, the professor claims that 听力反驳观点1. That is,听力论证细节. His / Her second point is perhaps more enlightening: 听力反驳观点2. To state it more clearly, 听力论证细节. Finally, the most important argument the professor presents is that 听力反驳观点3.  听力论证细节. Obviously, these ideas dispute the main points in the reading passage.

 

Turning to the reading passage, the author first 阅读观点1 to support 阅读Topic. Then, he/she expands with 阅读观点2 and continues with 阅读观点3, which seems to make his/her argument plausible.

 

In conclusion, the lecture shows an attempt to look at the issue from a totally new perspective that is somehow overlooked by the reading passage.
